US Vice President JD Vance arrived in India on April 21 and will stay until April 24. This is his first visit to India after becoming Vice President. He has come along with his Indian-origin wife Usha Vance and their three children. The family arrived at Palam Airbase in Delhi, where a senior Union minister welcomed them. The visit began with a trip to the Akshardham temple in Delhi and a traditional handicrafts market. On Monday evening, a formal meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled. After that, the Vance family will leave for Jaipur on Tuesday night, and on Wednesday, they will visit cultural sites like the Taj Mahal and Shilpgram in Agra.
